Going strong at 91

Dick Van Dyke now, 2016, age 91. Still walking, no walker:

Dont take it personally

Many people are too mind possessed to react much to inputs from the world. They follow their generic positions most of the time.

Dreams, Reflections

At night
you cannot tell
objects from shadows
reality
from reflections..

& when the Cosmos sleeps
perhaps there are only dreams, only reflections

Mystical darkness..
ocean of illusions
sea of shadows
seat of wonder

In the depths of darkness
you cannot tell
objects from shadows
reality from reflections..

& when the Cosmos sleeps
perhaps there are only dreams, only reflections.

Out there in deep space

On a canvas** broad enough

where even the fierce, blazing Sun

is lesser than a subatomic particle...

On this canvas,

dark maya dances

on the dead body of time.

................................................

** Imagine a canvas that is 1 gogool km wide, which is 10100 km.
The Sun is approx 1 million km in diameter or 106 km.

So on this canvas, the Sun occupies 10-94x100/100 or 10-92 percent of space.

This is so tiny that the Sun is nothing more than a mere possibility on this canvas, as per established quantum physics principles...

Hindus and Buddhists would call that Maya. Illusion.

Such scales of space and time are very real of course. For example the life of some Black Holes .... is estimated to be more than 10100 years.
